As a Jungian Analyst I believe each of us has an an inner healer that can guide us towards a deeper, more emotionally fulfilling relationship with ourselves, others and the world around us – if we allow it to.

I have completed an IAAP accredited Jungian Analytic Training (AJA), hold an MA in Psychodynamic Theory and Practice (Roehampton) and an Advanced Diploma in Psychodynamic Psychotherapy (WPF).

I am engaged in ongoing research and writing. I participate in peer support programmes and ongoing professional development to ensure that my practice in central London affords the best informed care.

Beginning Therapy

setting up the first appointment

The first step is a short phone conversation during which you can raise any questions you have, and tell me a little about your situation. Either call me directly, or email me with your phone/mobile number. Should you wish to explore counselling further we will then arrange a meeting.

Our first meeting will afford you a chance to talk freely about your situation and your feelings in a calm, comfortable, confidential setting. In this meeting you’ll also be able to explore how counselling / psychotherapy could help you before deciding to continue. The first session is charged at £50. You do not need to be referred by your GP. Your enquiry will be treated in strict confidence.

What is psychotherapy?

Therapy is talking about, and reflecting on, your thoughts, feelings and relationships together with a therapist. Through therapy you become more conscious of underlying/unconscious feelings and assumptions which actually shape the way you feel about yourself and others, and which may cause negative patterns to repeat in your life

You meet with your therapist once weekly (sometimes more frequently)
